Here is the first little draft of our music video! As you can see, we still have a way to go, but we have recently completed all of our filming that's needed to create our main product.. so with a subsequently large amount of editing hours it will soon be complete - we've uploaded this draft to get a bit of audience feedback and to show everyone a small snippet of what's to come:

Lip syncing

Today myself and money took some footage of ourselves in order to perfect our lip syncing before we filmed the scenes for our main product that include us singing; we also tried a popular technique used in other music videos which is to record the lip syncing with a very sped up version of the original song, to then slow the footage down to give the clip a slow motion effect whilst the lip syncing remains on time.

Magazine Advert analysis

For our magazine cover we decided to use the same sort of theme that runs throughout our main product and our digipak; the de-saturated colouring, use of vintage text and photos taken from our music video all link to one another and reflect the same representation of british youth culture. The sparking lighter shot centered in the middle of the advert refers to the artist name and the lyrics in the song 'bacci and filter', it does not promote the use of substances or narcotics but does help refelect life for young people in Britain today. The choice of image also reflects Andrew Goodwins theory on the correlation between lyrics and video, as it indludes a shot taken from our main product which portrays the above lyrics for effect.
